Pages in the Park

(A Free Summer Literacy Initiative)

Pages in the Park is a free literacy initiative sponsored by Camrose Adult Learning Council’s Family Literacy Program, and it’s happening soon!

From May 3rd to May 31st families can stop by Jubilee Park on Tuesdays to read books, participate in fun activities/crafts and leave for the day with books to enjoy at home!

Our Family Literacy Program Facilitator, Melanie Poole, has organised fun-filled activities for families that can be enjoyed by elementary-aged students.

The schedule is 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Tuesdays.

Activities are easily accessible and delivered in a flexible come and go style to suit family lifestyles! It’s a great way to pass some time together as a family and leave your screen fatigue at home! Make this part of your summer family fun!

Watch for the quilts scattered on the grass, or check out the Camrose Family Literacy Program Facebook page, Pages in the Park related post to join in the festivities!

(Tuesdays, May 3 – 31st, 4 – 6:00 pm, Jubilee Park)
