Occasionally Camrose Adult Learning Council has a need for experienced tutors with formal training who are interested in supporting adults to increase their basic literacy skills and/or build skills in junior high and high school level academic subjects such as math, reading, and writing. You would be required to develop specific goals and timelines with adult learners, monitor progress, suggest homework assignments, and facilitate learning sessions with an adult learner. A flexible schedule and the ability to commit to short-term (12-week) intensive contract work is also an asset.

Camrose Adult Learning Council is also looking for volunteers to serve as board directors. Serving on a volunteer Board of Directors is a rewarding experience, an opportunity for learning, and a way to contribute to our community.

Consider sharing your expertise and innovative ideas as a staff or as a volunteer Director on the Camrose Adult Learning Council Board.

To find out more about these opportunites, call Ron Baier, Executive Director, at 780-672-8754.
