Experienced Tutors and Instructors
Camrose Adult Learning Council is looking for experienced tutors with formal training who are interested in supporting adults to increase their basic literacy skills and/or build skills in junior high and high school level academic subjects such as math, reading, and writing. You would be required to develop specific goals and timelines with adult learners, monitor progress, suggest homework assignments and facilitate learning sessions with an adult learner. A flexible schedule and the ability to commit to short term (12 week) intensive contract work is also an asset.
Workplace Series Instructors
Camrose Adult Learning Council is looking for people with Retail or Service Industry experience and skills who would be interested in assisting with the development and facilitation of a series of short workplace related courses. Topics for the courses could include: Getting Along with Co-Workers and Supervisors; Leadership in the Workplace; Team Building in a Busy Workplace; Working Alone Safely; Effective Face to Face and Phone Communication with Customers; Problem Solving/Organizing/Planning/Scheduling; and Workplace Computer Skills. If you have skills in any of these areas that you would like to make some extra cash sharing your skills, email us your resume and a cover letter. We plan to begin development of these courses in October 2017.
